2007 Spring Workshop
University of Missouri - Forestry Camp

Plan to attend the 2007 Missouri Chapter Spring Workshop. It's a great opportunity for Students and Professionals to interact and to learn practical wildlife management skills.
Nothing like Springtime in the Bootheel! Dogwoods in bloom, herps coming to life, turkeys gobbling, and mushrooms (and did we mention there might be mosquitoes?). Located near Wappapello Lake in Butler County,
University Forest property will be the site for this year's Annual Spring Workshop. Sessions will start before breakfast on Saturday and run all day. Field trips will occure rain or shine so be prepared for wet or cold weather. Bring binoculars if you have them!

- Herpetology
- Deer Management
- Forest Management
- Prescribed Fire
- Level 1 Fire Certification
- International Bird Conservation
- Trapping
- Bird Capture Techniques
- Feral Hog Control
- and Much More!
Accomodations:
There are several options to choose from:
- Cabins with bunk beds (bring your own linens or a sleeping bag)
- Primitive Camping on site
- Additional camping opportunities are available at nearby ACOE Campgrounds
- (Due to the camp being on University of Missouri property, this will be a non-alcohol event)
Food:
Snacks will be available on Friday eveing.
All meals on Satruday will be provided.
A light breakfast will be provided Sunday morning
How Much?
$25 if you plan to camp
$35 If you plan to sleep in a cabin
